Ep. 132: Non-Tradish with Quianna

Ep132.001.png

I love Quianna's grad school journey because it starts in a centerpiece of Black American culture, the shop! A hairstylist turned social worker, Quianna was always finding resources to help her clients and when she decided to go back to school in 2006 to finish her Bachelor's degree, she then realized that social work was the career that would allow her to amplify and empower voices. She got more than she bargained for when she was encouraged to continue and complete her MSW.

Listen in to this episode to hear how Quianna pursued her MSW working full time on top of titles as a mom, new wife, and one of the brilliant minds behind @non_tradish. She shares her unorthodox study hours, her prioritization method, and her negotiation skills that helped get her through.
